Alternative Processes

When I have time, I enjoy experimenting with quasi alternative photographic processes. Then again, these digital days some people call film and silver gelatin prints an alternative process. Ha! Anyway, I enjoy using paper negatives, x-ray film, and using a soft-focus portrait lens in the woods. The images below were made using either 4x5 inch or 8x10 inch negatives of some sort.

One day, when I have more time, I would like to expand these experiments to include true alternative photographic processes such as: carbon printing, palladium, salt prints, albumen, iron, wet plate, and so many more.
